SJ Sports Therapy occasionally offers open days where new patients can come into clinic and have a free 20 minute consultation and diagnosis session with one of our qualified therapists.
Open days are held at the clinic based at Vital, within The Alveston Manor, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Taekwon-Do T-UK English Championships
Susanna and Elissa recently provided Sports Therapy assistance to participants at this Taekwon-Do Championship at the Stratford leisure Centre. The event was in association with Central TKD - a group of Taekwon-Do schools & instructors under the guidance and supervision of Mr John Archer VI Degree Black Belt.
Dry needling
SJ Sports Therapy is pleased to announce that dry needling has been added to the list of treatments available.
Dry needling is a technique that uses very fine acupuncture needles to treat 'trigger points' - specific areas of muscle which cause pain that is associated with acute or chronic muscle strain. During dry needling treatment, the area of tenderness is carefully assessed to order to identify specific areas of muscular tension. These muscular points or 'trigger points' can refer pain to other areas other than the point being manipulated. Once these specific points have been located, a fine needle is inserted into the heart of the problem, allowing the muscular tension to be dispursed.
SJ Sports Therapy and Motor Sport
Susanna has been working in association with Driver Performance, part of Prodrive in Banbury, to provide sports therapy treatments for racing drivers and their teams of mechanics during motor sport events. Venues so far have included Silverstone and Le Mans in France for the famous gruelling 24 hour race.
